Man will spend seven years in jail for kidnapping, raping teen in Bellingham
BELLINGHAM, Wash. – A person convicted of kidnapping and raping a teen in Bellingham has been sentenced.
42-year-old Darrin Moseley was sentenced to simply over seven years in jail on June 14th.
Moseley was arrested in November of 2020 after the sufferer was in a position to name 911 from a shack he had stored her in.
He admitted to deputies that he had given the teenager alcohol and marijuana and had sexually assaulted her.
Investigators later discovered that each Moseley and the sufferer suffered from developmental disabilities and psychological well being points, in response to court docket paperwork.
On the time of his arrest, Moseley was a registered intercourse offender.
He may even spend three years on probation following his launch from jail.
