Man arrested after brandishing rifle near Bellis Fair Mall

BELLINGHAM, Wash. – A person was arrested in Skagit County after witnesses mentioned he brandished a rifle close to the Bellis Honest Mall.

Bellingham Police say that witnesses reported that the person brandished the rifle in a number of areas, together with on Bellis Honest Parkway close to Goal on Monday, January 2nd.

The suspect, 50-year-old Shane Staley, eluded a visitors cease and Bellingham Police didn’t pursue his car as he sped south on I-5.

Officers in Skagit County later situated and arrested him.

Staley faces quite a few felony costs.
